About Me

Brian’s real estate industry career began in April, 1990 as a Sales Representative with a prominent Cleveland based Title Company. Within a year he was the top producing Sales Representative and was promoted to Sales Management 1991. During his tenure, Brian earned numerous affiliate awards through the Cleveland Area Board of Realtors and was listed in The Plain Dealer’s “Who’s Who in Cleveland” in 1993.

Late in 1993 based on the desire and commitment to enter the mortgage industry as a residential Loan Officer, Brian’s mortgage banking career began with Dollar Bank of which Brian earned the Ohio Loan Officer of the Year award from 1994 through 1997. During his tenure, Brian earned FHA Direct Endorsement and Conventional Agency Underwriting Designations, an Equifax Certified Credit Counselor designation, became a Notary Public and obtained the designation as a Certified Sales Advisor through Dollar Bank.

Driven by a desire to work with Bill Cosgrove and an ultra-competitive independent Mortgage Banking Company, in December of 1997, Brian moved to Union National Mortgage Co. as a Senior Loan Officer. Brian originated mortgages at Union Home Mortgage Corp. earning President’s Club Awards in 1998 through 2004, Union Club Awards in 2006 through 2007 and Customer Service Awards in every year of full-time origination.

Brian was promoted to Vice President, General Sales Manager in 2004 and to Vice President, National Sales Manager in 2007 as the company expanded its regional footprint to a national footprint. During this time, Brian was instrumental in developing internal and remote transition training programs, onboarding procedures for new Loan Officers, offices and acquisitions as well as administering the UHM Policies and Procedures library. In addition, Brian maintained administrative and active growth and recruiting programs, directly managing the Sales Management team and Growth Managers.

To date Brian maintains an active role in both Sales and Operations including Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Facilities Management, Product Management, Training, Special Project Development, Report Administration and Development, Contract Development, On-Boarding Coordination, Licensing Coordination and Intranet/Policy Administration.
